Project Overview
Eureka is an AR app which can provide guidance for children, teach them the inventions in their daily lives, give them knowledge, and answer their questions automatically, assisting them in exploring the world with their parents, inspiring their thoughts and creativity, and stimulating their curiosity.
Inspiration
My sister always hounds me to answer various questions. At first, I am pretty patient with that. But as she keeps asking, I get annoyed and sometimes don't know the answers. These questions are difficult for me, a college student, let alone my parents. It would be better if there were a device to answer questions for children automatically.
Eureka is a Greek word that means “I found it”.
It originates from the story of Archimedes, a Greek mathematician, when he was asked to check if a crown was pure.
Archimedes noticed while taking a bath that the level of the water in the tub rose as he got in and realized that this effect could be used to determine the crown's volume, for the submerged crown would displace an amount of water equal to its own volume. Discovered such a principle, Archimedes then took to the streets naked, so excited by his discovery that he had forgotten to dress, crying, "Eureka! ”

The main colors of the UI are water-blue and dark purple, which symbolize the curiosity and fantasy of children, people's exploration of the mysterious ocean, sky, and space, and the development of technologies.
The adoption of bubbles is a tribute to Archimedes, who was inspired by the bathtub, and the bubbles are also the symbol of children’s curiosity and imagination.
